I am so excited to share this dream with all of you! Opening my own coffee shop has been a dream of mine for the last decade and I am so pumped about this opportunity. I have been in the coffee industry for the last 15 years and have seen it all. I have two really big passions that this shop is going to be able to bring. The first, is to bring Kansas City the best coffee you can find and enjoy. I want the espresso and drip coffee to be the highlight of the shop. We also serve timeless cocktails, craft beer, and wine for the late afternoon/evening. The second, is to be very community oriented. We are involved in the direct community in Overland Park, KS. Bear Necessities is a warm and welcoming space for all to find community and friendship. I want to be able to help with the needs of those around me and support the other local businesses in the area. I am so excited about Bear and how it can help build a thriving community.
